KCR To Decide Next CM of Karnataka?

Will K.Chandrasekhara Rao, the TRS top brass, be crucial in the formation next government in the state of Karnataka? Interestingly, the answer is ‘yes’. Sources say he was quick to call Janta Dal (Secular) leader H.D.Kumaraswamy after the polling was over on 12th May. Exit Polls predicted that the JD(S) would emerge as King Maker standing Third after BJP and Congress on the same day’s evening. As far as the post of the Single Largest Party is concerned, some polls name BJP and the other Congress. But all the polls are in unison declaring JD(S) as the third one. If the scenario is true, JD(S) will be an indispensable ally for either of the rest to form the government.

In the 224 seat Assembly, the magical figure could be decided on the 222 seats, which went polls. Whichever party musters the support of 112 seats can form the government. If the Exit polls are to be believed, even the Single Largest Party, be it BJP or Congress, may struggle to get 3-digit figure, say, say 100 or more than 100 seats. The difference of seats between No.1 and No.2 could be is slight by 10 to 15 seats. Exit Polls predicted 20-40 seats to JD(S).

“KCR, under no circumstances, may ask the duo to make BJP, which has 21 States in its kitty, further stronger with one more state, as he is batting for ‘Stronger states and not Stronger Centre’. His obvious choice may be Congress.”

JD(S), then, as the King Maker may opt even the Second Largest Party, if it doesn’t like the Single Largest Party.

Now KCR can give an advice to give to the supreme of JD(S), HD Devagowada and his son, H.D.Kumaraswamy, keeping in his proposed Federal Front in mind. KCR, under no circumstances, may ask the duo to make BJP, which has 21 States in its kitty, further stronger with one more state, as he is batting for ‘Stronger states and not Stronger Centre’. His obvious choice may be Congress.

The leaders of the JD(S) cannot brush his suggestion as aside on another count: Karnataka has almost One Crore Telugu Speaking population. Chandrababu Naidu, the AP CM, too can have his say, if he wishes to. Naidu will not bat for BJP, as his honeymoon with the latter has recently ended with a bitter note.
