After Vijay Mallyas brought his airlines to a grinding halt with paucity of cash, only a few domestic airlines ventured to hit Indian skies. Air Costa was one such attempt but quickly ended up with losses. At this critical hour, Air Deccan makes its phoenix rise from its ashes.\u00a0\u00a0Gopinath it’s founder is all set to relaunch the airlines under the government\u2019s UDAN scheme\u00a0with a promise to connect small towns at low fares again<\/p>\n
Air Deccan will make a flying start from 22nd<\/sup> of December 2017 and its\u00a0 air craft will have its maiden trip from Mumbai to Nasik at a fare of 1400\/-. \u201cSome of the initial lucky people will be able to get Rs 1 fares also,\u201d Gopinath said.\u00a0 However, Air Deccan is facing parking approval problems at congested airports like Mumbai and Delhi as smaller planes hardly bring any revenue to the airports.
