In Telugu states, BJP is in the hunt for Telugu heroines. Oophs! Can they find them? Largely they draw blank. Telugu filmmakers have sparsely allowed Telugu girls to be heroines. But the BJP leaders haven\u2019t lost hope. They could find two familiar but not popular faces, Madhavi Latha and Reshma Rathore, who have Telugu origins (the former from Coastal Andhra and the latter from Telangana). But they have decent academic background. Vijyashanthi, who was once acclaimed as lady hero, made her maiden entry into politics by joining BJP. She could not stay longer. She came out and founded her own party.<\/p>\n<p>The female film stars in BJP, \u00a0have so far ended up either as poll- campaigners \u00a0or one-time- contestants.
