Sachin pilot landed safely at Rahul Gandhi’s residence. Did Pilot bury the hatchet to bring peace in the Congress party? But at what cost? What made the young and dynamic leader to step back?

The month -long political crisis in the royal state has finally come to an end with rebel Sachin pilot returning to the Congress fold. Even the Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, against whom the rebellion was targeted, is also making conciliatory gestures and assuring him to give his ear to the grievances of the pilot camp. Both the leaders who have aired their differences till yesterday, are now coming closer.
Did Sachin realise that his step had been ineffective? Or did Congress high command make any promise?

Mean while there were rumours that the former Deputy CM, Sachin, might join the opposition party but the state BJP didn’t the him. Vasundra Raje, the Sate Chief of BJP might have feared that young leader could make inroads into the saffron party. This made the Congress easy to welcome the prodigal child back.
