Sniff and Scurry are so active in adapting themselves to every change, as the cheese at station “C” is gets over day by day. Sniff smells other station and scurry runs and they find new station “N”. so, they adapt to change and are happy. Unlike the mice, Hem and Haw still remian at the old station “C” though the cheese exhausts. Somehow, Haw realizes and laughs at himself and wonders how foolish he is and tries to persuadesHem to move on to the other station. But Hem says no as he is comfortable at station “C” and afraid of going out of the same station “C”.

Haw accepts the change and triesto adapt to new change and searches for new cheese.  Finally, he arrives at station “N” and finds two mice . Hem at the old station falls sick for not having cheese . It takes time to realize for him and finally reaches station “N”.

That’s how Spencers Johnhson makes us understand a concept: The quicker you adapt change, the better the outcome will be.
