Kodandaram’s TJS to Get 5 Seats!

Prof. Kodanda Ram needs to swallow bitter pill in seat bargain with the Congress. He is bound to contend with just 5 seats, though Congress is believed to have promised him more than 8 seats for his newly floated outfit Telangan Jana Samithi(TJS).

Interestingly, neither the Assembly segments the TJS gets nor the candidates to be fielded there from are not of his choice. The Congress leadership considers the TJS as its satellite party, say, Congress-2.

It’s beyond doubt, that the Congress sees that at least the 4 of 5 candidates to file nominations on TJS should be from one(Reddy) Community, sources close to TJS, reveal. Prof. Kondaram’s followers are taken aback with the Congress’ adamant’s attitude and mounting pressure on him to go to the polls without truck.
