Queen Padmaavati is considered as the epitome of beauty with immense knowledge and is the wife of Ratan singh-The King of chittor. Allaudin Khilji, the sultan of Hindustan comes to know about Padmaavati’s extraordinary beauty and wages war with Ratan singh to capture Chittor to win the queen.

Story:
Allaudin Khilji initially lays siege on the impregnable fortress of Chittorgarh. After a grueling 6 months, he returns empty handed. He defeats King Ratan Singh in the war by unethical ways and enters the kingdom to acquire Padmaavati. But, inorder to save her dignity, she performs Jauhar(Sati) by burning herself.
Screenplay:
Sanjay Leela Bhansali proves the rumours spreaded by the Karni sena activists wrong by convincingly portraying the rich image of Queen Padmaavati. Her dignity is protected throughout the movie. He is first one to get a historical epic movie in 3D format in India.
Cast:
Bhansali perfectly presented the onscreen chemistry between Shahid kapoor(Ratan Singh) and Deepika(Padmaavati). Ranveer singh plays the role of the antagonist with his outstanding and commendable performance.
Music:
The Middle Eastern sound tracks used in the movie are amazing in the background. The most liked and viewed song ‘Ghoomar’ truly reflects the Rajputani folk song and music.
Pitfalls:
The visual grandiose that the trailer offered in standard format is lost in its 3D.
